Racing SX Lites West for Star Valli Yamaha was Ryan Sipes. In that main event, Sipes got a good start but then tangled up with another rider on the first lap. Despite this, Sipes bounced back to finish eighth and move on to the Shootout, where he finished seventh. Overall, Sipes finished out the season in seventh, with one win and two top-five results.

In Supercross Lites, Star Valli Yamaha’s Kyle Cunningham returned to racing after missing last week’s event due to injury. Cunningham had a strong showing in his heat race and finished an impressive fourth. In the main event, he got caught up in a turn-one pile-up, but still managed to work his way through the field to finish ninth.
