The ninth round of the FIM Motocross World Championship took place at Maggiora in northern Italy, and marked the halfway of the series. Coming with great expectations after his podium result in France, Dylan Ferrandis was unlucky while teammate Jason Clermont got a twelfth overall during his third GP with the Rockstar Bud Racing Kawasaki team.
